7/30/2009 Update (by David):

I am sending this update from mom's bed side. She just fresh up a little bit and put on clean clothes, and is about to sleep on bed comfortably listening her favorit music! She is still under medication and is not allow to eat anything, but is feeling hungry a little bit. She already thinks about eating something specific.

Lord has been with mom for sure. She is in the mood of talking tonight. Since I got here, she has been sharing what went through her mind recently. Actually she is countling the blessing even during this difficult time. Even brother, sister, and I need to take turn to stay here with her. But we are all able to get good understanding from our bosses. My boss is very easy on my off time and is willing to give me more than I should have. Mom is also feeling greatful for all the cares and prayers support from all of you. But she also felt a bit of regret for not being a good testimony for Lord when she was healthy physically. In her prayer, she would like to have chances (if Lord willing) to share her faith and care to people who have not known God. She even confessed some sins she knows she had against people and Lord. I can sensed the peace in her heart now. Isn't that amazing?

She still worries about the procedure and the treatment she is going to face. But I guess she is more prepared to fight this illness now.

To be honest, I have been pretty down in the last couple days when I saw her suffering physically and emotionally. But seeing Holy Spirit's work on her, I guess I have to trust He is still watching over her all the time.
