As many of you might have already known, I am sending this e-mail to give you an update on mom's current health condition.

Mom was brought to ER and was admitted to hospital last week for stomach problem. She stayed there and went through several tests for about 3 days before she was released. On Friday, I was notified by her doctor that mom's biopsy test result shows that she is having stomach cancer. As mom has been telling me before not to lie about her health condition, I knew I have to tell her the news but was struggling on when and how. With a great difficulty, I finally brought the bad news to mom on Saturday morning.

Now she still needs to go through a couple tests this week. The results from these tests will help the oncologist to determine the stage of the cancer and the possible options of the treatment. So hopefully by the end of this week, we should have a clear picture about her condition.

This is a series matter for her and the families. We will try all the possible means to get her the best medical help she can get, but at the same time we also understand how limit we are in situation like this and can only cry out to our Lord for His mercy on her.

Mom is fully aware of her condition. She is sad but she is also a brave woman. My heart is broken to see her going through this. I can only ask for your prayer support!
