Since year 2005, our family always spend both the Memorial day long weekend and the Labor day long weekend each year at the Gospel Camp. With mom staying in the hospital and Faith went to a trip with her friend's family this weekend, this is the first time that we are not together in the camp in 5 years. It is a strange feeling.

Praise the Lord - Mom came back from hospital on Sunday 9/6 afternoon. A procedure was performed to take care of her urinate problem, it also seems to resolve the kidney function issue. But this is the area we just have to watch it closely.

Her first chemotherapy was done when she was still in the hospital. She did have some side effects as expected. But her stay in the hospital actually helped the care of her a little bit. She is weaker than she was before the chemotherapy, but the vomiting and the diarrhea side effects seem to be gone now.

There are many ups and downs (physically and spiritually) for mom and for us on this journey. I learned that I just need to deal one day at a time and trust that He is with us all the time.
